On the patio

Paul and I said goodbye to snowbird and the mama moose!

Moma Moose

This beauty was sitting outside the patio where we watched Lindsay getting married. She didn't seem to be bothered by us, but we were very polite with her!

Lissa and Steve were
in town for Lindsay's
wedding at Snowbird,

motor biking

Grant and Gracie and Grandma were loading up the motorbikes for an afternoon in the mountains. The kids love getting away with their Dad to enjoy rides with their friends!
Gracie loves projects and she is very creative.
Her designs on Halloween cookies were the greatest.

Birthday lunch

Well, Margot, Chalene,Matt,Lauren and Floyd went out to lunch with Paul and I for my birthday. It was just a brief visit. I kissed Margot and hugged her but I don't get to do that very much. She has grown so much and I don't get to hold her enough.

9-4-08

Paul surprised me for my birthday.
He told me to pack a bag for over night. bright fancy clothes and be ready at 2pm. He came in with 2 dozen red roses and said here we go.
We drove to Logan,Utah, 2 hours from home. We checked in the hotel, went out to dinner to a Luau and then watched a USO Show that was staged in Hawaii and it was all the old songs that my parents danced to. There was a full orchestra and we danced the night away. What a creative, romantic and fun way to celebrate another birthday!

Grandpa B and the Dude

Paul was able to stop by our cousins picnic and visit with Floyd and everyone else.
Even though Floyd was cutting teeth he loves his Grandpa B!

Margot Z and Her Dad Matt

Matt and Margot at her first big dinner party. I am in hopes that I will get to see them this week as it is my Birthday. These birthdays are coming far too quickly and they are getting bigger in numbers so I just want them to visit and forget the that day. Margot has grown so much since I saw her last month that I can't wait to see her again. Oh and of course her parents. Parents should know that when babies arrive parents take the backstage. Everything is about Margot now!
