New York 9-4-2009

Yes, I finally got to go to New York and be a regular tourist and see all the sites. I did a double take when Paul told me where we were going for my birthday. I was so excited!

We stayed in Manhattan, took the subway everywhere, and a few taxis, and a bike ped through Central Park. We went to see Lady Liberty, Ground Zero and we shopped a Tiffany's. Needless to say we were exhausted everyday but we loved every minute of the trip.

Karen and I drove out to Roosevelt, Utah and visited with our Aunt Ruth, and our cousins, Francine,Vickie and Laurie. It was soooo nice to see everyone again.

Paul and I went on a HUGE hike with Kevin and Jodie. We figure it was 6 miles and that was mostly up hill. Needless to say it was HOT, HARD and FUN!

Floydee now gets on both of his rocking horses and rocks away. I caught him standing up on the saddle. Kids are fearless.

Mary Andersen came to town. Mary and I were roommates in college and we didn't get to visit long enough!

VEGAS 2009

MY DAUGHTERS TREATED MOM TO A FEW DAYS WITH THEM IN LAS VEGAS. IT WAS GREAT JUST TO SPEND TIME ALONE WITH THEM. THE HEAT WAS TOUGH TO DEAL WITH BUT THE COMPANY WAS FANTASTIC.
